Using Kinect As Augmented Reality for Neurosurgeons
Microsoft Research Cambridge has developed software for the Kinect that would allow surgeons to take MRI brain scans of a patient, and display its information using augmented reality. This would help a surgeon visualize exactly where a tumor exists within the patients head, helping them to make better decisions about where to cut.
